Registration

To register at the CVPR site, choose the Pre-workshops package and select W1 - Mathematical Methods in Biomedical Image Analysis.

Deadline for advanced registration is 19 November 2001.

Speakers:

The time for talks (including questions) is 25 minutes. Please leave time for discussion.

MMBIA '2001 is the fifth in the series of workshops on biomedical image analysis held in conjunction with CVPR (Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition) and follows the successful 2000 meeting in Hilton Head, South Carolina, U.S.A. Computational techniques in biomedical image analysis play a vital and ever expanding role. This conference is the latest in a series where new developments in computational techniques for the analysis of biomedical images are presented and discussed.

The purpose of this workshop is to foster dialogue and debate which will more sharply focus attention on mathematical approaches to research in biomedical image analysis. The program will consist of previously unpublished, contributed, and invited papers on all aspects of mathematical approaches to biomedical image analysis. All participants are expected to make an active contribution by presenting and/or by joining discussions. There will be no parallel sessions. Accepted papers will be published in an IEEE proceedings available at the conference.

Organizers:

Lawrence Staib, Yale University
