Welcome to Yong Yue's Home at Yale
I am a postdoactal associate in the Image Processing and Analysis Group (IPAG), Yale University. Before joined Yale, I studied in the Department of Electrical and Computer Eingeering, Rice University. My advisor is Dr. John W. Clark. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in 2007.
I am intersted in the following research topics: general signal and image processing; biomedical imaging analysis, including image segmentation, registration, and denoising; massive data computing; medical imaging; machine learning and pattern recognition.
In my past and current reserach, I concentrated on formulating, analyzing and implementing solutions to the fundamental problems in biomedical image analysis. In my postodoctoral training, I am working on
- Image segmentation
- MAP segmentation
- Ultrasound segmentation evaluation
- Segmentation with learning
In my Ph.D., I have been working on multiple projects on the medical image processing:
- Image/signal processing
- Ultrasound image denoising using wavelet diffusion
- PET image denoising
- OCT image denoising
- Image registration
- Cardiac motion estimation based on image registration
